Dr. Daniel Miller earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital. He completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education and his cardiovascular surgery fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital.
He currently practices at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Atlanta, Georgia. His special areas of interest include thoracic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, lung cancer, and mesothelioma.

He has contributed over 135 articles and multiple book chapters to his field.
