Background
Dr. Edward Levine earned his medical degree from Finch University of Health Sciences – Chicago Medical School. He completed his general surgery residency at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center and his surgical oncology fellowship at University Illinois Hospital.
Dr. Levine currently practices as a surgical oncologist at the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His special areas of interest include asbestos-related cancers, esophageal cancer, and gastrointestinal cancer.
The Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest Baptist Health is the only facility in the western part of North Carolina designed to perform cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC for the treatment of malignant peritoneal mesothelioma. Dr. Levine, an expert in these treatments, is proud to be able to offer them to his patients.

Dr. Levine serves as Principal Investigator for 25 ongoing clinical trials at Wake Forest. He has published the findings of his research in over 150 peer-reviewed articles.
