Surgical Expertise
Dr. DaSilva performs minimally invasive robotic surgery to treat thoracic malignancies. He prefers this technique over more aggressive surgical techniques because it has fewer risks, is less invasive, and has a shorter recovery time. Robotic surgery involves the use of tiny instruments that the surgeon controls via a computer board, allowing the surgeon a greater degree of dexterity and precision.
