Dr. Su’s Career
Dr. Stacey Su’s career is one of growth and success. She first left her position as staff surgeon at the University of Pennsylvania with the intention of accepting a dual role as the director of thoracic surgical oncology for Delaware County Memorial Hospital while still practicing at the Fox Chase Hospital. This dual role was possible thanks to the Fox Chase Partners Program. It allows her to oversee the care of many more patients.

Education and Expertise
Dr. Stacey Su earned her medical degree from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency and her thoracic surgery fellowship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. During her time at Brigham, she became passionate about treating mesothelioma, a rare disease that arises due to long-term exposure to asbestos.
Who She Treats
Dr. Su treats patients with mesothelioma, lung cancer, and esophageal cancer. In addition, she also treats patients who have non-malignant diseases. She cares for her patients during their most vulnerable moments, helping them understand their disease and how to effectively treat it.
