Fighting Alongside Her Patients

Any patient who battles mesothelioma will have Dr. Andrea Wolf right alongside them, cheering them on. Dr. Wolf has always fought for the underdog. She recognizes that often the people who are affected by mesothelioma are blue-collar workers, people a lot like the ones she grew up with.

Background

Dr. Wolf was born in Brooklyn, but she grew up in a middle-class suburb in New Jersey. She went on to earn her medical degree from Harvard University. Dr. Wolf completed her general surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and her cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Wolf currently works at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her special areas of interest include lung cancer and pleural mesothelioma.

Close Coordination with Other Great Doctors

Over the course of her career, Dr. Andrea Wolf has worked with Dr. Raja Flores and Dr. David Sugarbaker, fellow thoracic surgeons who have received international recognition for their treatment of mesothelioma. She continues to work closely with other experts in the field to provide her patients with the best care.

Dr. Wolf encourages patients with mesothelioma to seek treatment as soon as possible. She asserts we now have more reasons to be optimistic about treating mesothelioma than we did in the past.
