In the early 1990s, Dr. Eric Vallieres served as assistant professor of surgery at the University of Alberta. It wasn’t until 1996 when Dr. Vallieres came to the United States to work as an associate professor of surgery at the University of Washington. He worked there for eight years and earned an award for being “Teacher of the Year.” He currently works at the Swedish Cancer Institute.
