Surgical Oncologist , Chief Surgical Officer, Professor of Surgery

Dr. Richard Alexander, a world-class researcher and surgical oncologist, has interests that include the abdominal cancers. Along with treating patients from Rutgers Cancer Institute, Dr. Alexander also works as the professor of surgery. Dr. Alexander only recently joined up with Rutgers back in 2017. He had moved here from the University of Maryland, where he served as the head of surgical oncology.
