Only 10 years after leaving the Brigham and Women's Hospital, a world-renowned hospital, Dr. Sudish Murthy, M.D., was asked to return to present information for the Visiting Professor Grand Rounds Program. This shows us how he had clearly earned some respect from his colleagues as a doctor. What did he present on? He chose the topic of address as, "A Decade in General Thoracic Surgery, Lessons Learned...Lessons Taught."

Dr. Sudish Murthy earned his medical degree from Columbia University. He completed his general surgery residency and his thoracic surgery fellowship at Harvard. He currently works at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Sudish Murthy has a special interest in pleural mesothelioma, lung transplant, general thoracic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sudish has dedicated time to research and publishing. He has written and co-written over 100 articles for peer-reviewed medical journals. In addition, he has written several book chapters.
